WEEK IN REVIEW – GRIFFINS DEFEAT COUGARS AND FALL TO OREDIGGERS
Westminster defeated Colorado Christian, 70-61, outscoring the home side in the first, third and fourth quarters. 11 of the final points for the Griffins were scored from the free throw line.
Denise Gonzalez and
Kaylee Carlsen were perfect from the free throw line in the fourth quarter, making 10 of 10.
Griffins fell to Colorado School of Mines, 70-59. Slow starts to both the first and third quarter allowed the Orediggers to build a 16-point lead. Westminster improved offensively in the fourth quarter and outscored the home side, 22-17.
Hunter scored 21 points for Westminster and was the only Griffin to make it to the free throw line against Colorado School of Mines. Krebs was perfect from the line, making all six of her free throw attempts.
THIS WEEK
Westminster returns to the Behnken Fieldhouse and plays Regis on Friday and Chadron State on Saturday. Both games are scheduled to tip-off at 5:30 p.m.
The Griffins are 6-7 overall, 5-4 in the RMAC and 9th in the conference standings. Regis is fifth in the conference standings and Chadron State is 15th.

Denise Gonzalez,
Hunter Krebs and
Kaylee Carlsen have each scored more than 100 points. Gonzalez leads the team in scoring with 175 points, averaging 13.5 points per game. Gonzalez also leads the team with 59 assists and 36. She is second in rebounding with 66 boards collected.
Krebs is 54.0 percent from the field and has scored 158 points, averaging 12.2 points per game, and Carlsen has 105 points, averaging 8.1 per game.
Sydnee Taylor and Sicilliee Williams are close to passing 100 points. Taylor has 97 points and Williams has 96.

Krebs has collected 77 rebounds and leads the team. Gonzalez is second with 66 boards, Taylor has 56 and

SCOUTING CHADRON STATE
The Eagles are 15th in the RMAC with an overall record of 3-13 and a RMAC record of 1-9. Chadron's lone conference win came against CCU. The Eagles are 0-8 on the road.
Kalli Feddersen leads the team in scoring with 207 points, averaging 13.8 points per game. Brooke Turek is second on the team in scoring with 122 points and Alex Nelson is third with 120 points.
Chadron State is third in the conference making 76.6 percent of its free throws. Harvey is 94.3 percent from the line and has made 33 of 35. Feddersen has attempted 118 free throws and made 96 for 81.4 percent.
Feddersen, Harvey and Turek lead the Eagles in rebounds, combining for 243 collected rebounds. Feddersen has pulled down 127, Harvey has 63 and Turek has 53.
