Box Score LACEY, Washington – The Westminster women's soccer team (2-1) earned a 2-0 victory over St. Martins (0-2) in the first game of a two-game road trip.
 
Ellie Echeverio would put the Griffins on the board first at the 78th minute with an unassisted goal off a deflection one-yard out of the net.  Abi Black would score the second goal of the contest at the 84:30 mark on an assist from Sara Weixler.
 
Westminster had a 21-3 advantage in shots on the day and they were able to put six of those on goal. They took 9 corner kicks and the opponents finished with two.
 
Sara Weixler would get six shots off along with Jayde Jones, Abi Black and Sara Weixler with three apiece.
 
Breanna Empey and Hillary Weixler earned the win in the box.
