SALT LAKE CITY – The Westminster women's lacrosse team ran its winning streak to four straight games with a 21-7 win over Oklahoma Baptist in a Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference game at Dumke Field on Tuesday.

Westminster (4-1, 2-0 RMAC) got six goals from
Allison Lambert and seven points from
Morgan Bakarich in the home opener. They outscored Oklahoma Baptist (2-4, 0-2 RMAC) 15-2 over the final 45 minutes of action, allowing just one goal in the second half.

Lambert led six different Griffins that scored multiple goals on the day. She scored on all six of her shot attempts, including her only free-position chance. Bakarich finished with six assists – one shy of the school record – and added one goal and three ground balls.

The Griffins had a 37-22 advantage in total shots and they managed to put 31 shots on cage. They claimed 18 of the 28 draw controls and had a 24-13 edge in ground balls. Each team committed 19 turnovers.

Katie Adams added four goals and one assist while
Kathleen Hendershott finished with two goals and three assists.
Kira Heiden scored four goals and led the team with four ground balls.

All three Griffin goalies saw time on the day.
Taylor Hekking made four saves in the first half to earn the win.
Mikala Anderson had four stops without allowing a goal in her 23 minutes with
Caitlyn Laffey playing the final seven minutes with one save.

OBU was led by two goals apiece from Alexis Martin and Hannah Dowell.
