SALT LAKE CITY – The Westminster women's lacrosse team had its four-game winning streak snapped with a 23-0 loss to No. 2 Lindenwood on Saturday afternoon at Dumke Field.

Westminster (4-2, 2-1 RMAC) saw its run of four straight games with at least 20 goals come to an abrupt halt as Lindenwood (6-0, 3-0 RMAC) dominated possession and held the Griffins to only four shots on the day.

The visitors took 44 shots and with a 19-6 advantage in ground balls. The Griffins claimed nine draw controls, but committed 32 turnovers and went just 8 of 21 in clearing chances.

Taylor Hekking finished the afternoon with 12 saves to tie her career high.
Audree Erekson led the team with three draw controls.

Westminster will be back in action on March 25 when they play Brigham Young at 11:30 a.m. at Dumke Field.
