SALT LAKE CITY – The Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) announced this morning an agreement with Comcast Entertainment Television (CET) for a package of Men's and Women's basketball game to be aired live on CET this January and February. The package includes the Westminster men's basketball game at Regis on January 14.
This is the second consecutive season the RMAC/CET basketball schedule will feature an array of men's and women's conference games. Westminster will make its debut on the network when they visit the Rangers of Regis University in Denver at 7 p.m. MST.
CET is available in Utah to Comcast/XFINITY subscribers and is located on XFINITY Channel 6.
"CET is a valued partner of the RMAC as we showcase some of the best basketball in NCAA Division II," stated RMAC Commissioner Chris Graham. "We are pleased to once again work with Comcast in the Rocky Mountain region to spotlight the achievements of our student-athletes."
RMAC basketball will continue to be broadcasted on CET nearly every week from now until the end of the regular season. In addition to the regular-season games, CET will broadcast the RMAC Men's Basketball Shootout Semifinals and Final on March 3-4.
"We continue to enjoy showcasing RMAC basketball on CET. It highlights great competition right here in our backyard for our XFINITY subscribers, said Brett Hatch, Comcast Director of Programming in the Mountain West Region.
Fort Lewis at MSU Denver will kick off the showcase schedule this Friday, Jan. 6 with a doubleheader starting with the women's game at 5p.m. followed by the men's game.
