DENVER – The Westminster men's basketball team snapped a season-long four-game losing streak with a 72-62 win at Regis University on Saturday night in Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference action.

Westminster (9-8, 5-8 RMAC) trailed by five on two separate occasions in the first half before the game hit intermission even at 36-36. The Griffins would open a 49-40 lead just over six minutes into the second half before Regis (7-12, 5-8) fought back to even the game at 55-55 with 6:42 to play.

On the next Griffin possession,
Quincy Bair scored after an offensive rebound to put the team in front by two. They would maintain that lead the rest of the game and secured the win with a 7-0 run that ended with a
Brandon Warr bucket with 1:23 on the clock and the Griffins leading 66-58.

Warr finished the game with 16 points to lead the Griffins. He made 7 of 10 field goal attempts and also collected eight rebounds with four coming on the offensive end.

That shooting performance helped the team to finish at 42.9 percent for the game. Westminster was 6 of 19 from beyond the arc and they had 18 assists on 24 field goals. They limited Regis to 38.8 percent shooting and the Rangers made 12 of 32 from three.

Bair added 13 points and seven rebounds for the Griffins.
Kenny Woodard would contribute 13 points and seven assists off the bench and
Marcus Bryce went for 10 points and 12 rebounds to record his second double-double of the year.

Jarrett Brodbeck of Regis led all scorers in the game with 20 points behind 5 of 11 on 3-pointers. Dexter Sienko added 17 points for the Rangers.
