Salt Lake City — Down seven with 1:06 to play in regulation, the Westminster men's basketball team came back to claim a 98-97 overtime win over The Master's College in the Westminster Thanksgiving Classic on Friday night in the Behnken Field House.

The Master's (2-3) led 88-81 with 51 seconds left to play when Jordan Pryor went to the free throw line and made a pair of free throws. After a turnover by The Master's lead to a layup from Casey Evans to put the Griffins (3-0) down three with 44 seconds left to play, Pryor got a steal and hit a three to tie it up at 88-88 with 36 seconds remaining. After a Master's turnover with 12 seconds to play the griffins got the ball back, but missed their attempt as time expired sending the game into overtime.
