Box Score CALDWELL, Idaho – The Westminster College men's basketball team suffered a 90-71 loss at College of Idaho on Friday night in their first game at the Golden Rule Shootout.

Westminster (3-2) shot just 33.3 percent from the floor in the game while only making two of the 17 threes the team attempted. The Griffins were out-rebounded 49-43 while also recoding eight assists with 13 turnovers in the loss.

The Griffins closed the first half with a 7-0 run to trail 41-37 at the break. College of Idaho would take control of the game with a 15-2 spurt over the first five minutes of the second half to lead by 17. The Yotes would eventually push the lead to 23 as they cruised to the win.

Tallon Robertson led the Griffins with 20 points while grabbing 10 rebounds for his third double-double of the season. It was also the third time this season that Robertson had scored at least 20 points. Jordan Hamilton and Jordan Pryor scored nine points apiece.

Westminster will complete the trip to the Golden Rule Shootout on Saturday with a 5 p.m. MST game with Eastern Oregon.
