WHITEFISH, Mont. – Frontier Conference Commissioner Kent Paulson announced that 11 Westminster College golfers were named Academic All-Conference today. The 11 student-athletes named to the team was the most of any team in the conference.
The Westminster women led all women's teams with six members making the team. Branid Bork,
Candace Dechant,
Katie Felt,
Jenteal Jackson,
Keni Nelson and
Mikayla Williamson were each named Academic All-Conference from the Westminster women's squad. This is the first time on the team for each of the six student-athletes.
The Griffins men placed five members of the team.
Matt Bushman,
Cole Dixon,
Matt Hardy,
Alex Howlett and
Brian Panter were al named to the team for the first time in their respective careers. The five by Westminster trailed only the six by Carroll College on the men's side.
To be eligible for the academic all-conference team, the student-athlete must be at least a sophomore in standing, maintain a 3.0 GPA and be enrolled at school the previous two semesters.
