Box Score HAVRE, Mont. – The Westminster College women's volleyball fell at Montana State-Northern, 3-0-, on Saturday afternoon at Armory Gymnasium.
Westminster falls to 13-11 overall and 6-7 in Frontier Conference play with the 14-25, 18-25, 12-25 loss. MSU-Northern is now 15-13 and 9-5.
The Griffins finished the match with 28 kills and hit .110. They recorded 2.5 blocks and 46 digs to go with three service aces. Northern countered with 44 kills and a .398 hitting efficiency. The Sky Lights also had eight aces and 63 digs.
Alyse Horton led the Griffins with eight kills while finishing with a .126 hitting percentage. The freshman also had six digs and one ace.
Katie Vance added six kills and one block with
Ashley Marchant going for five kills and 13 digs for a second straight double-double.
Emily Atkinson recorded 25 assists.
Kelsey William led Northern with 11 kills and teammate Jillary Isleifson chipped in 10 kills. Joni Nagy finished with 30 assists and 11 digs.
Westminster has one more road game remaining this season and it happens on Thursday night at Carroll. That match is slated for a 7 p.m. start in Helena, Mont.
