Box Score BILLINGS, Mont. – The 23rd-ranked Westminster College women's soccer team remained winless away from home with a 1-0 loss at Rocky Mountain College on Saturday. Westminster is now 0-4-1 in matches away from Dumke Field on the season.
The Griffins fall to 8-5-1 overall this season and 3-1 in the Frontier Conference while also dropping to 1-2 all-time when playing as a ranked team. Rocky improves to 8-6 overall and 2-1 in the league.
Rocky would take the 1-0 lead in the 70th minute on an own goal by the Griffins. The only goal of the contest was the first own goal of the season by Westminster.
Rocky finished the afternoon with a 10-8 advantage in shots attempted. Westminster only managed three shots on goal in those eight shot attempts.
Margo Hickman fired a team-best three shots with only one on goal.
Dayna Winter-Nolte recorded four saves in suffering the loss.
The Griffins will look to snap this road winless streak on Friday when they face Carroll College in Helena at 1 p.m.
