Box Score HAVRE, Mont. – The Westminster women's volleyball team picked up a 3-1 win at Montana State-Northern on Saturday evening. After dropping the first set, Westminster (8-6, 4-2) rallied to take the next three and the victory. The Griffins have now won four consecutive matches for the first time since 2008.
Westminster won by scores of 21-25, 25-21, 25-19, 25-21.
As a team, Westminster hit .243 in the match while racking up 54 kills. They improved the team hitting efficiency in each set and capped the night by hitting .424 in the fourth frame. Westminster also piled up nine service aces to go with 55 dogs and seven blocks.
Clotile Harris had a big night with 21 kills and a .282 hitting efficiency. This was the fourth match this season that Harris has gone for 20-plus kills. Stephanie Jones added 12 kills and four blocks with
Kenzie Mitchell posting 10 kills and a .588 efficiency.
Ericka Evans had nine kills and 11 digs while
Kyndall Kordakis had 16 digs.
Westminster will complete the first half of the conference season when they host Lewis-Clark State on Friday, October 1 at 7 p.m.
