Box Score BILLINGS, Mont. – The Westminster women's basketball team completed a season sweep of Rocky Mountain College with a 99-77 win on the road on Thursday night. No. 11 Westminster (22-5, 11-1 Frontier) led 53-40 at the intermission and carried that advantage into a fifth consecutive win.
Westminster was excellent offensively all night, finishing the game shooting 62.1% from the field. The 99 points is the third most they have scored this season and the most they have scored against a Frontier Conference opponent. The Griffins recorded 22 assists on 36 field goals and scored 36 points in the paint. Defensively they held Rocky (7-17, 5-6) to 40.9% shooting and forced 20 turnovers.
Nicole Yazzie led five Griffins in double figures with 24 points. They all came from her career high eight three-pointers on 12 attempts. Yazzie also dished out nine assists while collecting three rebounds.
Allie Eastman finished with 18 points while connecting on four triples.
Keshia Catten also made four from beyond the arc on her way to 17 points.
Olivia Pierce-Eiselein had 15 points and eight rebounds playing in her hometown for the first time in her career.
Westminster now carries victories in 18 of the previous 19 games with them into the final road game of the season on Saturday, February 20 at Carroll College. That game will tipoff at 6:00 p.m. in Helena, Montana.
