PHOENIX, Ariz. - The Westminster men's basketball team defeated Southwestern (Ariz.) College 83-70 on Tuesday night at the Grand Canyon Classic.  The win is the sixth straight for the 12th-ranked Griffins and improves them to 9-4 on the season.

The Griffins shot 52.4% from the field and got 19 points from Ben Walker.  Weston Anderson had 16 points while Blair Prowse chipped in 15.  The team had 24 assists on 33 total field goals.

Tonight the Griffins take on NCAA D2 foe Wisconsin-Platteville.  That game begins at 6 p.m.
