Box Score LAS VEGAS, Nev. – The No. 9 Westminster men's basketball team lost 79-63 to No. 8 Concordia (Calif.) at the Las Vegas Classic on Friday night. Westminster trailed 62-60 with just over five minutes remaining, but had several turnovers down the stretch to take the loss. Westminster falls to 1-2 on the season and loses consecutive games for the first time since March of 2008.

Blair Prowse finished with 20 points and eight rebounds to lead the Griffins. Weston Anderson had 12 points and five boards. Michael Stockton scored nine points and dished out three assists off the bench.

Westminster is back in action at the Las Vegas Classic on Saturday when they face No. 3 Fresno Pacific. The game from Desert Oasis High School is slated for a 5:00 p.m. tipoff.
