Jay Slone serves as an assistant coach for Westminster men's basketball, bringing experience at the Division I, national prep and AAU levels. He spent two seasons as National Prep Head Coach at SPIRE Academy in Geneva, Ohio, compiling a 57-12 record and earning the 2024-25 Ohio Prep Conference Coach of the Year honor. Slone previously led Mount Pisgah Christian School to a Final Four appearance and served as associate head coach at The Skill Factory in Atlanta. He began his collegiate coaching career as a graduate assistant at Northern Kentucky University and has spent nine years coaching on the AAU circuit. A native of Ohio, Slone played five seasons at Ashland University, where he was a two-year team captain. He resides in Millcreek with his wife, Jen, and their dog, Goose.
