2020-21 (Spring, COVID-19) - Freshman
- Played in 16 matches, making two starts as a true freshman for the Griffins.
- Grabbed double-digit kills in a pair of matches-- 10 kills on 19 attacks (.474 att pct) vs. UCCS on Jan. 22 and 13 kills on 29 attacks (.276 att pct) vs. Colo. Christian on Mar. 26.
Before Westminster
- Committed to Westminster in November of 2019 while attending Kalani High School in Honolulu Hawai'i.
- Played club volleyball for Spike and Serve Volleyball Club for coach Kevin Wong.
- Named her team MVP back-to-back seasons and was an honor student at Kalani High School.
Personal
- Daughter of Leslie and Randy Hamaoka.
- Her favorite hobby is playing beach volleyball with friends.
- She also played competitive beach volleyball growing up in Hawai'i.
- A nursing major, Maya has spent time interning in a pediatrician's office.
