2014 (Freshman): Appeared in 26 matches while making seven starts as a freshman … saw action in 78 sets … finished second on the team with 141 assists … also recorded 128 digs and 16 service aces … led or tied for the team lead in aces six times … had nine matches with double-digit digs … posted seven matches with double-digit assists … had 10 assists and five digs in collegiate debut against Walla Walla (8/21) … dished out 16 assists with six digs against Westmont (8/30) … had a career-best three aces against Dickinson State (9/5) … tallied 11 digs and two aces versus UC Merced (9/6) … posted 10 digs at Carroll (9/13) … notched 10 digs and four assists against Montana Western (9/19) … had 11 assists and eight digs at Montana Tech (10/4) … finished with 14 digs and two aces against Rocky Mountain (10/16) … posted 10 digs and nine assists at MSU-Northern (10/31) … finished with 12 assists and six digs in home finale with Montana Tech (11/8) … tallied 10 assists and six digs in Frontier Conference Tournament against Carroll (11/14).
 
Before Westminster: Saunders, a 5-foot-6 setter from Herriman High School in Herriman, Utah. She was named first team all-region (2012-2013), third team all-state (2013), team MVP and captain (2013). Saunders is a good athlete with exceptional ball control skills. She played club ball for ACES and helped her team to the Intermountain Volleyball Club championship in 2012 and super-Regional Champions in 2013. Saunders is planning to major in Criminal Justice. She is the daughter of Bruce and Holly Saunders.
