Eileen O'Connor is from Chicago, Illinois, and attended Mother McAuley High School, where she competed in cross country for four years and track & field for three years, earned the GCAC Academic All-Conference Award all four years of cross country, was named Most Improved Athlete for the 2023 outdoor track & field season as a junior and Most Valuable Performer for the 2023 cross country season, and ran a career-best 18:57 at the 2023 IHSA Class 3A State Cross Country Championships in Peoria, Illinois. Her college personal bests include 2:17.32 in the 800m, 4:49.97 in the 1500m, 5:16.78 in the mile, and 23:18.6 in the cross country 6K.
She is majoring in Nutrition. O'Connor chose Westminster for its smaller class sizes, welcoming environment, and supportive community, along with the resources it provides to help her succeed as both a student-athlete and a student.
