Allie Lieshout brings over a decade of collegiate coaching experience at the Power Four level, along with a professional playing career spanning Europe, Japan and the NWSL, to the Westminster women's soccer program.
Lieshout joins Westminster after serving as assistant coach for Utah United in the USL W League, where she was part of a staff that guided the club to the 2025 league championship in its inaugural season. She has also held progressive leadership roles at Utah Celtic FC — Utah's top premier youth club — including Head Coach, Age Group Director and Director overseeing the club's Girls 11v11 GA and Aspire programs.
From 2021-24, Lieshout served as first assistant on an all-female coaching staff at the University of Minnesota under Head Coach Erin Chastain, helping guide the program to its first Big Ten Tournament berth since 2018 in 2022. She contributed to the development of nine All-Big Ten honorees and two United Soccer Coaches All-Region selections during her tenure.
Prior to Minnesota, Lieshout spent three seasons (2018-21) as an assistant coach at the University of Utah, helping the Utes reach the NCAA Tournament after a two-season postseason absence. She helped coach three All-Pac-12 honorees and two All-Region selections, and was part of a staff that defeated three top-25 opponents, including a 2-0 win over No. 14 USC in 2020.
Lieshout also served as Head Coach for USA Metro Youth Club in Salt Lake City from 2017-21.
As a player, Lieshout competed professionally across Europe (Belgium, Germany) and in the NWSL with the Seattle Reign and Orlando Pride, closing her playing career in Japan with Konomiya Speranza in 2017, where she also served as a club ambassador. She attended the Utah Royals' 2018 preseason camp before transitioning into coaching.
Lieshout earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Utah (2009-14).
