Before Westminster
Black came to Westminster from Taylorsville, Utah where she attended Taylorsville High School. The 5-foot-10 forward was named first team all-state by the Deseret News and The Salt Lake Tribune after scoring 38 goals as a senior last season. As a four-year contributor for the Warriors, Black scored 92 goals to rank sixth all-time in the state of Utah. She was also a first team all-state selection as a junior after scoring 26 goals. Black was named academic all-region and High Honor Roll.
