Biography

Nisa Ellis is from Lake Stevens, Washington, and attended Lake Stevens High School, where she earned two-time First Team All-Conference honors and was named a two-time State Tournament MVP; she helped Lake Stevens win the WesCo Championship twice in her four years, was selected for the Herald All-Regional Team, the Washington State All-Star Team, the Puget Sound All-Star Team, and the 4A All-Star Team (West Side) her senior year, was named Sno-Isle Student of the Quarter, received the National Gold Honors Academic Award and Top Citizenship Award, and served two years as president of her school's Black Student Union.

She is majoring in Business Marketing and Management with a minor in Entrepreneurship. Ellis chose Westminster for its business school program and its smaller class setting.

Her dream after college is to attend culinary school and open her own restaurant.
