Westminster University Athletics

Lynette Schroeder comes to Westminster after six seasons as head coach at Southern Virginia University, where she compiled a 124-45 record. During her tenure, the Knights won four USA South Conference Tournament Championships, four regular season titles, and made four NCAA Division III National Tournament appearances. She developed two NCAA Division III All-Americans and 18 All-Conference selections, and earned USA South Conference Coach of the Year honors in 2022 and 2025.

Prior to Southern Virginia, Schroeder led Skyline High School in Salt Lake City to a 112-42 record from 2012-2018, capturing the 2017 4A State Championship and earning both 2017 USA Today and Xfinity Sports High School Coach of the Year honors.

Schroeder is no stranger to Westminster, having served as an assistant coach during the 2018-19 season when the Griffins posted a 21-9 record, reached their first RMAC Tournament Championship game, and earned the program's first NCAA National Tournament berth.

She holds a Master of Science in Sports Coaching from West Virginia University and a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Southern Virginia University.
