Westminster University Athletics

Sasha McKee is starting her inaugural season as Assistant Goalkeeper Coach for Westminster University. Her passion for lacrosse started in 4th grade and was instantly hooked. As a player, Sasha was a four-year varsity starter and captain at Jordan High School, earning multiple All-State honors and national team appearances. 

Her collegiate career only furthered her passion on and off the field. She served as starting goalkeeper for the University of Utah Women’s Lacrosse team, helping lead them to back-to-back national championship appearances, while serving as the team Treasurer. She earned many awards, most importantly, First Team All-America, Goalie of the Year, and Most Outstanding Goalie – National Tournament.

Sasha believes that lacrosse has instilled her with grit, determination, and perseverance. She has therefore developed a passion to pass along those traits to the next generation. She first started coaching in high school and continued with Utah Mamaci and Tenacity Lacrosse clubs with a focus on goalie development. She later joined as a volunteer coach at Brighton High School and continues to coach club lacrosse with Elevate. 

She holds a B.S. and M.S. in Mechanical Engineering with an emphasis in robotics and control from the University of Utah.
