Biography
Coach Comments: One of the top athletes on the field, Matt will add athleticism and aggressiveness to our defense. With footspeed and the savy of a midfielder, he may contribute in the face-off game from time to time. He is highly versatile and we are expecting great things from number fifteen this year.
Junior Year (2011): Did not play.
Sophomore Year (2010): Played 21 games as a defenseman … scored one goal ... gave two assists ... collected 20 ground balls ... named MCLA All-Tournament Defense … awarded RMLC Second Team All-Conference and Second Team MCLA All-American at Defense.
Freshman Year (2007): Played in all 17 games as a defender.
Before Westminster: Attended Olympus High School … started playing lacrosse during sophomore season … moved to a starter as a junior and served as team captain during senior year … was Second Team All-Conference as a senior.
Personal: Son of Mark and Kim … has one brother, Travis … served a two-year church mission in 2008-2009.
