Biography
Coach Comments: A two time MCLA All-American, Marshall returns for his final season as a Griffin. His singular focus on excellence at the face-off position earns him the respect from teammates and foes alike. Marshall will be a fun player to follow in 2012 and will be hard to replace next year.
Junior Year (2011): Played in 18 games … collected 42 ground balls … won 75 face-offs … was named to RMLC First Team All-Conference FOS … MCLA First Team All-American FOS … MCLA Scholar Athlete.
Sophomore Year (2010): Played in 14 games … collected 32 ground balls … won 81 face-offs … was named to RMLC Second Team All-Conference FOS … MCLA Honorable Mention All-American FOS.
Freshman Year (2009): Played in 19 games … collected 12 ground balls … won 32 face-offs.
Before Westminster: Played four years at Juan Diego Catholic High School … named co-captain during senior year … second team All-State midfield and played in the Senior All-Star game … played mostly as a fogo and d-middie.
Personal: Born April 2, 1990 to Roger and Angela Serzen in Sandy, Utah … has a younger sister, Sarah.
