Biography
Coach Comments: Butters had a great season in 2011 and is stepping it up this year. I expect him to be in contention on the first midfield line this year. He's very aggressive off the wing on face offs and a team leader this fall in the groundball stats. He has the potential to be one of the top midfield threats. He will also be competitive for the extra man offense squad."
Freshman Year (2011): As a midfielder he played in 18 games ... collected 27 ground balls ... scored 27 goals ... recorded three assists.
Before Westminster: Attended Bishop Kelly High School in Boise, Idaho … a four-year varsity player … was selected to the Treasure Valley Lacrosse League All Star Game in two consecutive seasons … was named team MVP and First Team All-Conference midfielder as a senior.... played on the Team Idaho traveling club team … participated in the Space Needle Shootout and the Vail Shootout … was part of the 2006 U-19 team that was the first Idaho team to get into the A Bracket in Vail.
Personal: Born on March 2, 1990 to Bart and Vanessa Butterfield … also earned a varsity letter in wrestling.
