Hailing from Suffield, Connecticut, on the banks of the Connecticut River, field athlete sophomore Allison Carson comes marching into Salt Lake City to throw some weight around. Javelin throwers and shot-putters tend to be a rather cerebral bunch, and Allison fits the stereotype, as the Mathematics major resides within Westminster’s Honors Program and Dean’s List, just as she did as an AP Scholar With Distinction at Suffield High School. In addition to populating the Wildcat and Griffin academic plaudits, the 5’5” fraternal twin played field hockey and captained the Wildcat track team. Music to warm-up by includes Skizzy Mars, Alt J, Blink 182, and on the screen, Inception and Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs works. As expected, Allison’s hobbies tend toward the highbrow and include knitting, painting and, (natch), Sudoku. Along with twin Katie and sister Jessica, mom and pop Barbara and Jon cheer from back east in the Constitution State.
