OVERVIEW:
Westminster College COVID protocols.Ā  Masks are optionalĀ on campus at this time.Ā Ā 

This pageĀ is being updated periodically and all student-athletes, coaches, staff and guests are expected to review and adhere to theĀ policies andĀ protocols set forth.Ā Westminster CollegeĀ uses the NCAA COVID-19 Medical Advisory Group as well as institutional, federal,Ā state and local health guidelinesĀ and resources as the guiding principals for all decisions, policies, and protocols pertaining to our intercollegiate athletics. Vaccine RequirementĀ Ā 
Westminster College requiredĀ the vaccine for all employees and registered students. Faculty, adjunct faculty, full- and part-time staff, and all students needed to be fully vaccinated by October 15, 2021.Ā 


COVID-19 TESTING OPTIONS & PROTOCOLS

ON CAMPUS -Ā Ā Testing at Student Health Services

OFF CAMPUS - Testing locations in Utah

Everyone, regardless of vaccination status, should make an appointment to be tested if they are experiencing symptoms of illness or have been in close contact with someone who tested positive for COVID-19. If you are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms, call Student Health Services atĀ 801.832.2241Ā before you make an appointment.Ā If you're experiencing symptoms, but are calling Student Health Services after hours, try scheduling a test with your health care provider or urgent care instead.

Keep in mind:Ā After you get tested you must practice quarantine-like behaviors: stay home; avoid public places; when leaving home for essential duties keep physical distance (6 feet away from people); and wear a mask.

Should student-athletes report if they have been diagnosed with COVID-19 or exposed to someone who has?
Yes. Student-athletes, regardless of vaccination status,Ā must report as soon as possible to Head Athletic Trainer, Rick Hackford (rhackford@westminstercollege.edu),Ā 801-832-2355Ā or their team's Athletic Trainer if they have been diagnosed with COVID-19 or exposed to someoneĀ who has.Ā  You must also complete the college's required COVID-19 diagnosis and exposure form.Ā  Please do not come to campus if you have tested positive or have had a possible exposure.Ā  Rather please follow procedures at Campus Resource link below.Ā Ā

Team Travel:
All travel will be reviewed and considered per college policies along with federal, state and local county health guidelines regardingĀ travel.Ā Teams are required to adhere to all protocols when traveling as instructed by the head coach, athletic trainer and athletics administration.Ā Ā Ā
