What if I’m not enrolled at Westminster?To be a team member, you must be a full-time enrolled Westminster student. For information regarding the Admissions process at Westminster College please visit the
Office of Admissions web page. We encourage prospective students interested in possibly becoming a member of the Westminster Spirit team to try out. We can assist you with the Admissions process as needed and/or preceding the tryout.
Are scholarships available?Westminster students are eligible to receive merit based scholarships as part of their financial aid package upon acceptance to the college. Scholarship opportunities are available for new incoming students who become members of the Spirit Team as determined by the Coach and approved by the Financial Aid Office.

Do team members have to pay for equipment, team dues, travel etc.?No, all related costs will be covered.
What else will I be doing besides performing at games?The Spirit team will assist with promotional efforts before, during, and after the game when needed. There will also be opportunities for community appearances on and off campus as an ambassador to Westminster Athletics and the College. All student-athletes are expected to participate in community engagement and service projects annually. Not often, but when deemed appropriate and needed there might be possibly team travel to an away athletic event, appearance, camp and/or clinic.
