Biography

Lifted from the Lone Star State, sophomore Accounting major Jacob Stelter brings his cerebral approach to the Westminster campus from the John Cooper School in The Woodlands, Texas. Griffin expectations are as wide as the Rio Grande, as the middle-distance maven occupied the High Honor Roll for the majority of his high school career, and put-down some PR’s with the Dragons just a few seconds off of all-time Westminster records. Jacob enters his outdoor track season #2 with a couple of solid XC and indoor campaigns, as well as a handful of Griffin indoor top-5s.  Along with soccer and board games, Jacob likes to relax with many musical genres, but offers an un-stereotypically Texan proclamation of “not country.” An NBA basketball fan, perhaps his home-grown-in-Utah teammates will encourage him jump ship as Jazz fan. Back at the ranch, support for Jacob is as big as Texas, with proud parents Tom and Michelle, along with sister Rachel rooting for the 6’2” soph.
