Biography

Personal: Joining the Griffins from right here in the City of Salt is former Skyline High School XC and Track team captain, Westminster freshman Shay Jonart. Debate is but one sport the 5-foot-9 Secondary Education major contested for the Eagles, as with XC and track thrown in the mix, deliberation suggests the sum of high school letters Shay accumulated would be enough to spell: Go Griffins! Specializing in middle and distance, Shay toes the collegiate line with high school PR’s of 4:42 – 1600M, 10:12 – 3200M, 16:33 – 3 mile, and 16:50 – 5K.
