Biography

Dwelling on the Dean’s List while majoring in Chemistry is fitting for Joe Cremer, as mixing vital matter in the fusion of academia and athletics is in his DNA. As a perennial High Honor Roll student and standout multi-sport athlete at Westminster’s neighboring Judge Memorial High School, Joe was honored as the Bulldog’s Outstanding Male Athlete for his synthesis of basketball, football, track and golf. While Joe split Griffin genes with a freshman fusion of basketball, track and XC; he focused on the latter for his subsequent campaigns, as running is the fundamental big bang theory of sport. His hypothesis proved proper as junior Joe jogs the XC courses in purple and owns many of the Griffin sprint and mid-distance marks. Off the track and away from the classroom, Joe takes a decidedly less intense approach; content to lie on the beach with poetry spinning in his head, and Indie rock blowing in the breeze. Parents Mark and Mary, the catalysts for Joe’s joule, and sisters Amy and Sarah provide the kinetic energy for the Griffin’s 6’1” middle-distance specialist.
