Before Westminster
Empey came to Westminster from Bluffdale, Utah where she attended Riverton High School. During her senior season with the Silverwolves, the 5-foot-5 keeper posted five shutouts and helped her team reach the Utah 5A State Championships. Empey graduated in the top five percent of her class and as a member of the National Honor Society.
