Biography

Ashley Lam is from Taylorsville, Utah, and attended Skyline High School, where she was a four-year First Team All-State and First Team All-Region honoree, served as team captain, was selected Team MVP, was a back-to-back Utah 5A Individual State Champion, and was part of consecutive Utah 5A Team State Championship teams in 2023 and 2024, helping lead Skyline to its first girls golf state championship in program history. She was also named the 2024 Deseret News Ms. Golf and 2023 Deseret News Outstanding Golf Athlete.

Lam also won the 2026 Utah Amateur Golf Championship.

She is majoring in Finance. Lam chose Westminster because she wanted to play college golf while staying close to home, and the smaller class sizes, strong community, and fun golf team felt like a good fit.

Her dream is to make it to professional golf and play on the LPGA Tour.

Favorite athletes: Lydia Ko, Nelly Korda, Collin Morikawa, and Tiger Woods.
