SALT LAKE CITY – The Westminster men's basketball team snapped its skid Saturday afternoon with a 79–62 win over Western Colorado at Behnken Field House in RMAC action.
The Griffins led at the break and pulled away in the second half, holding Western Colorado to 29.6% shooting after halftime while extending the margin with balanced scoring and control of the glass.
Game Breakdown
First Half
Westminster took a 34–29 lead at halftime, shooting 48.3% (14–29) from the field. The Griffins scored consistently in the paint and limited Western Colorado to 44.8% shooting, while forcing early turnovers that helped control the pace.
Second Half
The Griffins separated after the break, outscoring Western Colorado 45–33 in the second half. Westminster shot 50.0% (17–34) from the field and 50.0% (4–8) from three over the final 20 minutes, while holding the Mountaineers to 8–27 shooting in the half.

Jake Nadauld added 13 points, 8 rebounds, and 5 assists, while Boston Painter chipped in 11 points and 9 rebounds off the bench.
