The Westminster Griffins remained perfect to open the season, improving to 2–0 with a home win over the Jamestown Jimmies from North Dakota.

From the opening whistle, Westminster controlled possession with sharp passing and constant pressure on the Jimmies' back line. The Griffins outshot Jamestown 14–1 in the first half and held a 2–1 edge in corner kicks.

In the 33rd minute, Addie McCallister broke the deadlock, putting Westminster ahead 1–0 with the opening goal. After halftime, Jamestown pulled even when Abrianna Madill struck from distance, clipping the crossbar and finding the back of the net to level the match at 1–1. Just two minutes later, the Griffins responded as Kara Dickey delivered a highlight-reel strike of her own off the top bar, restoring the lead at 2–1.

Westminster finished the match with a commanding 22–5 advantage in shots, led by Jocelyn Jones, who recorded six attempts.
