Salt Lake City, UT - In their eighth all-time meeting with Northwest Nazarene, Westminster improved to 3-2-2 in the series, extending their win streak to three straight against the Nighthawks. The Griffins kicked off their 2025 campaign in style with a 1–0 victory at home.

After a scoreless first half, newcomer Addison Coon, a defender making her debut with the 2025 squad, provided the breakthrough. Coon found the back of the net in the second half for the game's lone goal, securing the win for Westminster.

The Griffins narrowly outshot the Nighthawks, 9–7, placing four shots on goal compared to three for NNU. Both goalkeepers finished with three saves in a contest defined by strong defensive play. The Nighthawks held the edge in corner kicks, 5–2.
