Salt Lake City, UT – The Westminster Griffins women's lacrosse team made a statement in their home opener at Dumke Field, cruising to a 20-4 conference win behind a 10-goal performance from Jordan Williamson.

Williamson wasted no time getting the Griffins on the board, netting the game's first goal just 18 seconds into play. She added three more in the first quarter as Westminster built an early lead and never looked back. Grace Szwedko and Olivia Petrosky also contributed to the offensive explosion, while Holly Shoughro, Madi Rogers, Anabelle Kugler, and Lilliana Montano each found the back of the net.

On the defensive end, goalkeeper Gabriella Cheminant anchored the effort with seven saves, while Kaelyn Hart added three more in relief.

With their first conference win of the season secured, the Griffins now set their sights on their next matchup against Colorado State University Pueblo on March 30 at Dumke Field (3:00 PM) for Morgan's Message awareness game.
