NAMPA, Idaho — Westminster women's basketball earned a 70–60 road win over Seattle Pacific on Saturday at the Johnson Sports Center.
The Griffins built a 30–19 halftime lead and maintained control throughout, outscoring SPU 23–19 in the third quarter before closing out the victory. Westminster shot 43.9% (25–57) from the field and 77.3% (17–22) at the free-throw line.
Ellie Mitchell and Madison Anderson led the way with 17 points apiece. Mitchell shot 6–12 from the floor and 3–3 from three, while Anderson went 7–12 with 8 rebounds. Nisa Ellis added 11 points on 3–4 shooting and 5–6 at the line.
Emily Evans finished with 8 points and 7 rebounds, and Teuila Nawahine pulled down a team-high 8 rebounds to go with 6 points. Westminster won the rebounding battle 49–35, scored 32 points in the paint, and got 28 bench points.
