The Westminster Griffins (9-5-2, 5-2-2 RMAC) continued their strong conference run with a 2–0 victory over the Colorado Christian Cougars (2-12-3, 2-5-2) on Sunday afternoon in Lakewood, Colorado. The Griffins jumped ahead in the 19th minute as James Miles found the net off an assist from Jack Cardwell. In the second half, Westminster added an insurance goal in the 53rd minute when Tommy Hammons converted with an assist from James Miles, setting the score at 2–0. The defense and goalkeeper Tommy Manwaring again rose to the occasion, earning a clean sheet as the Griffins stifled any meaningful attacking chances from the Cougars. With this victory in hand, the Griffins will return home with momentum to the final stretch of their regular season.
