Westminster men's basketball opened the 2025–26 season with a strong weekend sweep of Texas–Dallas, earning wins of 75–62 on Friday and 90–81 on Saturday inside Behnken Field House.

On Friday, the Griffins used a dominant first half and a strong night on the glass to control the opener. Michael Fraizer led the way with 18 points and 12 rebounds, while Jonah El-Farra added 13 points and Tommy Ball and Colin Hayes chipped in 10 each as Westminster shot 45.6% and outrebounded UTD 48–32.

Saturday's matchup featured another balanced offensive effort, led by Fraizer's 21 points and 9 rebounds. Hayes scored 13, Boston Painter added 9, and Nick Holland, Jake Nadauld, and Cameron Cohn all hit key threes to help Westminster reach 90 points while shooting 50% from the field.

The Griffins finished the weekend 2–0, showing strong depth, efficient scoring, and control of the boards heading into their upcoming nonconference slate.
