Chadron, NE – The Westminster Griffins women's basketball team showed promise in the first half but faltered in the third quarter, leading to a 63-43 loss to Chadron State College in RMAC action on Thursday night.
The Griffins held their own early, keeping the score close and even taking a lead at times, but a dominant third quarter by Chadron State turned the tide. The Eagles capitalized on their opportunities in the paint and off fast breaks, which proved pivotal in the victory.
