Salt Lake City, UT – The Westminster Men's Soccer team rebounded from their previous defeat with a solid 2-0 victory over Regis University on Sunday afternoon at Dumke Field.
Westminster got off to a fast start, with Landon Ward converting a penalty just three minutes into the match to give the Griffins an early 1-0 lead. The Griffins maintained that advantage through halftime. Early in the second half, Alejandro Puente found the back of the net after an assist from Ward and Cuauhtemoc Borjon, extending the lead to 2-0.
Tommy Manwaring earned the clean sheet, making three key saves to secure the victory.
