Salt Lake City, UT – On Friday night, the Westminster Griffins Volleyball team opened their home season with a dominant three-set victory over Fort Lewis College inside the Behnken Field House.

The final set was capped off by Mailei Myers, who led the team in kills with 8 and secured the match with the decisive final kill. Claire Cook also had eight kills to tie for the team high, while Regan Jackson added seven.

Abby Reardon contributed with three aces, followed by Alanna Lee with two. Myers led the team with five blocks, while Josie Gerritsen had 14 assists and Leila Cornejo contributed 13. On the defensive end, Lee had an impressive 20 digs to help anchor the defense.
