The lone goal of the match came in the 21st minute, as Deontae Ben found the back of the net with a high shot to the center, assisted by Gage Wood. The Griffins' defense held strong throughout the match, anchored by goalkeeper Roark Looney, who made four crucial saves to preserve the shutout and secure the victory.
