Salt Lake City, UT – The Westminster Griffins Women's Soccer team wrapped up their regular season home games on Dumke Field with a 2-1 loss to the University of Colorado Colorado Springs (UCCS) on Sunday afternoon. The Griffins honored their senior class for Senior Day before facing an early challenge as Luka Johnson scored for UCCS in the 8th minute, followed by another Mountain Lions goal in the 15th minute, giving the visitors a two-goal lead at halftime.

In the second half, the Griffins fought back as Ashley Cardozo found the back of the net for her first goal of the season, narrowing the deficit to one. Despite creating several chances, Westminster couldn't find the equalizer, ultimately falling 2-1.
