On Saturday night, the Westminster Women's Basketball team experienced a thrilling contest against Chadron State College. Maunayia Harrigfeld showcased her skills by hitting a jump shot, giving the Griffins a one-point lead with 24 seconds remaining. However, Liberty Line of Chadron State College managed to secure the final bucket with just 0.4 seconds left on the clock, resulting in a narrow 62-61 defeat for the Griffins.
Teuila Nawahine once again led the game with an impressive performance, contributing 22 points and seven rebounds. Harrigfeld added 14 points, and Lime Okada finished the night with 12 points. The game was a back-and-forth battle, with the Griffins holding a one-point advantage in the first quarter (20-19) and maintaining the lead at halftime after scoring 16 points in the second quarter. Chadron State College's strong third quarter made the game close heading into the final quarter of action.
