Teuila Nawahine of Westminster University shone, delivering an outstanding performance as the top scorer with 22 points and six rebounds. Despite her efforts, the Griffins fell short, losing 77-55.
Maunayia Harrigfeld was the second-highest scorer for the Griffins, finishing the night with double-digits, contributing 10 points, seven rebounds, four assists, and a block on the defensive end.
Nawahine showcased her prowess with three-pointers and a flawless 5-5 record from the free-throw line. Maggie Hutka led CCU with 20 points, aiding in improving their conference record to 5-3.
Looking ahead, the Griffins will focus on securing a conference victory tomorrow night when they face Chadron State College at 5:30 PM.
