DENVER, Colo. — The Westminster Griffins Women's Lacrosse team faced one of the top teams ranked in Regis University who came away victorious 20-4 in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference contest in Denver. 

The Rangers took control from the draw where they outdrew the Griffins on the Draw Control 20-8 and out-shot Westminster 40-14. 

Celia Finanaza struck first for the Griffins to put the first point on the board in the first quarter of action, and again in the second to end the day with two goals to lead Westminster in goals scored at Regis. Lauren Shoughro scored once again this season adding another goal of her own in the game, where Hunter Doyle hit the back of the net for the final goal of the game. 

UP NEXT: Westminster will play two more road games starting with Colorado State University-Pueblo on April 14. The first draw is scheduled for 4:00 PM (MDT) and you can watch all of the action on the RMAC Network.
